How long have you been here?
We've been caring for dogs and cats in Port Credit since 2010.
How often should my dog or cat see the vet?
Once a year for healthy adults. Puppies, kittens and senior pets (around 7+) usually need more frequent visits.
What vaccines does my pet need?
All dogs and cats need core vaccines, including rabies, which is required in Ontario. We recommend others based on your pet's lifestyle.
Does my indoor cat need a checkup?
Yes. Indoor cats still develop dental disease, kidney problems, weight gain and other conditions that are easiest to treat early.
When should I spay or neuter my pet?
It depends on species, breed and size. We'll recommend the best timing at your pet's puppy or kitten visits.
How do I know if my pet has dental disease?
Bad breath, tartar, red gums, drooling or chewing on one side are common signs. We check teeth at every exam.
Is anesthesia safe for my pet?
We examine every patient first, recommend pre-anesthetic bloodwork, tailor anesthesia to your pet, and monitor them throughout.
Do you offer ultrasound and X-rays?
Yes. Digital X-ray, abdominal ultrasound and echocardiograms are done right in our clinic.
Can I get my pet's medications and food online?
Ask our team about ordering through the clinic.
What should I do if my dog eats chocolate?
Call us right away during our hours, or a 24/7 emergency hospital if we're closed. Have the wrapper handy. Don't try to make your pet vomit unless a veterinarian tells you to.
Emergency when we're closed?
